Chani - Chinchilla Small Animal - Exotic

Shelter: BC SPCA - Burnaby Branch Animal ID: 590938 Birthdate: April 24, 2021 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: No Female Meet Chani, the adorable chinchilla looking for her forever home! When Chani was discovered as a stray, her fur was in very rough shape. We have been working to get her fur back to normal with gentle brushing and dust baths. Despite her past, Chani enjoys gentle strokes under the chin, tasty treats, and exploring her surroundings with curiosity. Chani likes to relax in her hammock where she will accept some gentle pats on the head and back. Chani will need patience and affection for her to fully come out of her shell. Please note, Chani will need a home who has previous experience with Chinchillas and an understanding of the species care needs. Do you think you could be Chani's person? Here are some ways to find out: 1. Visit our centre to meet her during viewing hours at 3202 Norland Ave, learn more about her ideal match and apply to adopt in person; or 2. Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions, an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs. Please note our adoption/viewing hours 1-5pm Monday to Wednesday and Friday. (Closed to the public Thursdays) 1-4pm Weekends
