Her gentle nature and adaptability make her an ideal pet for someone looking for a loyal and affectionate dog. She may need time getting used to spending time alone and to help stimulate her mind she is quite happy to have a stuffed kong. She enjoys frequent daily walks. Genie is well behaved and greets other dogs nicely. However, it is recommended that she be the only spoiled pet in the household so she can receive the attention and care she deserves. She deserves to be treated like a "Princess". Genie is gradually getting used to daily brushing thanks to her foster who has spent considerable amounts of time removing mats she arrived with. Regular visits to the groomers will be necessary to maintain her coat. Genie is currently in a foster home as she found shelter life to be overwhelming and it's being away from this environment, her personality has blossomed.
