Feed Mill Operators (salary range from 22.56 to 35.90 per hour) Family owned and operated for more than 70 years, the Friesen Group of Companies proudly serves local agricultural communities with high quality feed, nutritional consultation, and poultry breeding and hatching. An Operator 1 is responsible for daily checking boiler function and daily manufacturing of feeds, ensuring formulas, batching accuracy, mixing and sequencing procedures are followed, testing of finished feeds, daily reconciliation of medication, and ensuring all pelleting is being produced in accordance with company guidelines. An Operator 2 is responsible for the receiving, unloading, grinding and transferring of products; ensures the accuracy of all shipments, sampling all rail car and truck shipments. Also responsible for the maintenance of the grinders, rollers, screens and magnets, keeping area clean and well-swept. An Operator 3 is responsible for the receiving, unloading, grinding and transferring of products, ensuring that bins are always full; responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules. Requirements: Grade 12 education, forklift certificate (or possess within 3 months), Class 4 Boiler ticket (Operator 1). All Operators must have the ability to lift at least 25 kg., bend, twist, climb ladders and stairs.
