TESSELLA CONSTRUCTION INC. is hiring Tilesetters Location: Greater Vancouver area, BC. Job Type: Permanent, Full time (40 hours per week) Wage: $34.75/hr Skills and Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience in tilesetting Good command of English Completion of Secondary school Main Duties: • Follow blueprints and measure surfaces for tiling; • Cut and shape tiles using power and hand tools; • Form tile beds using concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, glue or mortar; • Set tiles and apply pressure to affix them to base; • Align and straighten tiles with straightedges, levels and squares; • Install tile strips, pack grout into joints between tiles; • Create decorative wall and floor designs by laying mosaic tiles; • Cut, install, polish and surface granite and marble; • Mix, lay and polish terra surfaces.
