Fraser Montessori Daycare in BC is seeking qualified Early Childhood Supervisor Job Position: Early Childhood Supervisor, Permanent, Full-time Job Location: 1408 5th Avenue New Westminster, BC V3M 1Z5 Wages: $34.65 per hour, 30 hours per week Required Experience and qualification: - Early Childhood Education Diploma - Valid BC Early Childhood Educator License - Valid First Aid Certificate - 6 month experience in child care setting - Good communication skills in English and supervising skills Key Responsibilities: -Supervise staff, trainees or volunteers -Assess the children’s development in order to prepare a learning plan tailored to his needs -Develop child-care programs related physical, emotional, social and academic development of children -Order supplies and equipment and Knowledge of licensing regulations -Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants -Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, etc. -Plan and conduct activity programs for young children -Observe children for signs of potential learning disabilities and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor -Establish guidelines for behaviour -Ensures the safety of all children in the Centre -Act to the individual needs and learning styles of children -Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours If you meet the requirement and would like to apply for the position, please send your resume by e-mail frasermontessori@gmail.com
