Acupuncturist We are looking for Registered Acupuncturist to join our team in Burnaby, BC, Canada. Clinic Name: Joayo Therapy Position and condition: Registered Acupuncturist, Full time, Permanent Wage Rate and working hours: $33 per hour / 30~35 Hours per week Work Location: 4664 Lougheed Hwy suite 100C Burnaby, BC V5C 5T5 Start date: as soon as possible Main Duties: -Diagnose patient illnesses and minor injuries, such as allergies and muscle strains or sprains -Diagnose physiological disorders and injuries of patients -Educate patients on risks and benefits of treatments -Evaluate and document patients’ progress -Treat patients by administering, in chemical or herbal form, a small dosage of a remedy made from natural substances or by suggesting lifestyle changes -Treat the diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients -Manipulate or apply pressure to various parts of the body, hands and feet -Provide other alternative forms of health care to patients -Treat patients by the insertion of acupuncture needles or through stimulation techniques Qualifications: - Registration with College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of BC - Diploma education in acupuncture or related health care discipline - Able to communicate in English If you meet the requirements indicated above, please feel free to apply by sending resume by e-mail to joayotherapyhr@yahoo.com Those who are qualified will be contacted
