I purchased this vase in Bellingham because I thought it was intriguing. Molded to look like rock, it can be used as waterproof flower vase. ('Heika' style in the Ohara School of Ikebana). -OR- It may be used as a pedestal for a dried arrangement. Either way, it is a highly unusual piece of pottery. Coloured in grey tones, and irregularly shaped, this vase really gives the impression that it was carved out of rock. The large piece measures 13" high, and is 6" at the widest point. There are no chips or cracks. This piece would suit the creative flower arranger. Please call 250 658-0587 to view.
