Rehabilitation and renovation manager

Construction company Olympic Projects Ltd. is looking for a Rehabilitation and renovation manager (NOC 70011) Permanent, full-time position Greater Vancouver area, BC SALARY: $31.15/hr DUTIES & RESPONSOBILITIES: - Plan, organize, oversee and manage residential renovation projects from conception to completion; - Ensure that renovation projects are adequately staffed; recruit, hire, train and mentor employees and subcontractors according to needs; - Develop work schedules and assign tasks; - Effectively communicate with clients, architects and engineers regarding project plans and specifications; negotiate project revisions, changes and additions; - Monitor and inspect subcontractors’ work to ensure quality and specifications are met; - Develop health and safety plans for on-site emergencies; - Ensure that residential renovation projects are staying under budget and completed on schedule. QUALIFICATIONS: - Several years of experience in renovation including supervisor’s experience is required. - Good communication skills. - Completion of high school. Relevant college or university degree would be an asset.
