(https://www.mdiconcrete.com) is hiring Concrete Finishers Position: Concrete finishers Location: Greater Vancouver area, BC Wage: $34.65 per hour Job type: Permanent, Full-time Requirements: 1-2 years of experience Completion of secondary school Good English proficiency Main duties: Set formworks and prepare surfaces for concrete pouring. Coordinate with truck drivers or concrete pump operators during casting. Safely operate power vibrators to compress concrete. Level the surface of freshly poured concrete based on grade and depth specifications. Install different fixtures as per blueprints and specifications. Smooth, grind, and polish surfaces using handheld and power tools to receive desired finish. Apply sealing, concrete coatings, and waterproofing/hardening components. Restore, repair, or replace damaged sections of concrete structures.
