No experience necessary. We are looking to train hydrovac operators to provide a safety focused service to our broad customer base. Previous driving experience is NOT required. We provide the opportunity to build on your driving skills with a senior operator before training to operate equipment. During our 3-month training program, we will examine some of the services we provide including: hydro excavating; mainline sewer cleaning; liquid hauling; hazardous waste hauling; and emergency spill response. We seek individuals with a strong work ethic, integrity, and discipline. Our industry is extremely safety sensitive, and we pride ourselves on a workforce that rises to the highest standard. Customer service, organizational and administrative ability considered an asset. What you need to be successful: * Valid BC Class 1 or 3 license with air-brake endorsement – Manual preferred * Available 8-12 hours a day with a rotating on-call schedule * Strong command of the English language * Reliable team player with a positive attitudeBenefits of this full-time union position: * Operator wage: 3-month training wage = $30.97. After 3 months wage increases to $36.69.
