Hi, I'm Kiara! I hold a BMus from the University of Victoria and am currently in year 1 of an MMus in music performance at the University of British Columbia. I've been playing oboe for over 10 years and have 4 years of private and group teaching experience with students from grades 6 to 12. As a teacher, I take a patient and individualized approach - I meet students where they're at and support them to set and reach their own musical goals. Flexible availability - please inquire for schedule and rates. First lesson always comes with 1 free handmade reed!
