1974 Ford F250 Camper Special with 44,800 ORIGINAL miles. Bought new in Victoria in 1974 , always garage kept. Used primarily to tow a boat up island twice a year from 1974 until August, 2016 when I became the second owner.Driven 9000 km in good weather only since 2016. 360 V8, auto trans, PB. Complete engine and tranny service last month by owner and Ken Searle ( if you don't know who Ken is, he founded Searle auto in the early 80s and is one of Canada's leading experts on Ford restoration) All engine gaskets changed. Tranny fully service and detailed by Bullfrog. Radiator fully serviced.Complete engine compartment and front end detailing before engine was reinstalled. Very presentable partial repaint done in early 80s when original owner installed a factory accessory tool compartment...still retains much of it's factory paint in excellent condition.Very straight fenders, doors and box with no rust issues.Original interior in as new condition.Glass and all rubber as new.Top of the line Firestone destination AT radials with 9000 km wear. No texts please. Update to the great speedo debate of 2019- Well, it seems I have a bit of egg on my face. A couple of people previously contacted me and gave their opinion that there was a sticker affixed to the speedo.I took a very close look yesterday under bright light and I can see that a factory made plate was mounted to the front of the speedometer.There is a small cutout at the top of the plate and the very top of the "5" and "0" at the 50 MPH mark are just visible behind....so the original speedometer ( in miles) is present and accounted for behind this plate. So, correct mileage is currently 44,800 miles...not kilometers. Please do not contact me to say "I told you so" , but if you are interested in a very stock 100% rust free collectable truck that has gone just 1000 MILES FOR EACH YEAR IT HAS EXISTED , please contact me.
